Hello, I am a lover of dogs, books, and learning (as long as it is interesting). I have a background in Library and Information Technology, and worked as a Library Technician in public, school and a medical libraries. I had been a coordinator with the Province of NS Mock Casualty program which allowed me to travel around the province, instructing the basics of moulage, as well as planning and taking part in large-scale exercises that included liaising with various emergency personnel… and then Covid-19 happened… A few years ago, I decided to leave an organization I worked at for 16 years to pursue other interests. One of my main interests throughout my past work-life had been technology so last year I had taken the IBM Cybersecurity cohort which was both challenging and interesting. Through SFHA, I am looking forward to learning even more and having more hands-on experience.

I am interested in tech so I can be a part of a continuously growing and expanding industry.
